I love how they are helping my child improve his reading. They are very attentive to his learning needs and build a good curriculum for him that has helped him in a short amount of time.
i like the step by step instructions for my grandson when he started in the spring he was four grade levels behind in just a few short months he has progressed three grade levels. i am also pleased with the monthly updates on his progress Huntington will have him ready to excel this coming September
I like how friendly everyone is there and how the teaching pace is like. I don’t get too much work but also just enough that I can learn a lot in the time I have. Only downfall is the cost, which can get really expensive with time.
The service that my son is receiving is boosting his confidence level very high. He’s excited to come to tutoring 3 times a week. He’s also learning new ways to read, something that his teachers are not teaching him in school. Thank you very much!
They are very nice and patient with me and my child. I like the monthly check ins where they show your child’s progression. I appreciate them asking for feedback on how to make it a better experience for my child.
My grandson was enrolled in Huntington and attended the program the summer of 2023. The staff was patient and formulated a schedule conducive to his needs. My grandson had not physically attended school since the onset of Covid and as a result, his math, reading and reading comprehension skills fell way below grade level. Huntington devised a plan to bring him up to grade level, build upon his skills, and inspire confidence.
With his return to school in September, he implemented the skills learned and by first report card, received all A's & B's. In the interim, since he was not finished the hours the Center determined were needed to complete the program, I paid for the remaining hours. By November my grandson was involved with in school and after school activities, and to my dismay, he and his parents decided he would no longer attend the program. The staff tried to work out a schedule where he would not come as often. It was also suggested the hours be put on pause and used when needed. The staff tried to accommodate, but it was not agreeable to my grandson's parents.
This decision that my grandson would no longer participate was not based upon anything detrimental about the program. Quite the contrary! It was made because of the success my grandson experienced as a result of the skills learned and applied. He and his parents collectively agreed he was doing well in school and was up to par.
I have phoned at least twice and left messages at the Center regarding this, requesting reimbursement for the hours paid for but not used. To date, I have yet to receive a response. I would just like the courtesy of a response. Thank you.

I am very happy for the progress that my daughter is making at Huntington! Her academics have really improved and I am really satisfied with the staff at this location!
I like that you take the time to evaluate each student and formulate a program based upon his/her individual need. Your program is also designed to ensure the students' needs are successfully met. In addition, parents are kept abreast of their progress. I also find it commendable that you go out of your way to work with our schedules to arrange parent meetings.
My son has been attending a Huntington since May. I like the fact that they work with you and understand that everyone’s schedule differs and they offer different times for students to come in. Students are welcomed into a comfortable environment and are not pressured to make progress, but given the skills to make progress. If your child is struggling and needs help, I highly recommend Huntington Learning Center.
