A Professional Staff of Educational and Administrative staff - that Understands Parents Academic concerns and develop specific programming for your child. What I think of the services: 1. The initial testing and assessment process - for your child. 2. Open and Honest Expectations for the Child as well as us Parents - - In short - - realistic achievable goals for your children based on testing and interaction with the assigned professional Tutors. 3. Follow-up with the Administrative as needed and review for the strength and weaknesses of the child. And a willingness to work on strategies to develop positive outcomes. 4. Although, it could be an investment - I felt that it is worth it - - they do have payment options and are very willing to work with you.

They are very through with what is needed. They presented to me what is expected at his age and what needs to be taken serious. They came with me to his IEP meeting and walked out with me and spoke with me outside and gave me their feedback as to where the school is going in Giovanni's situation. They are interested in what is happening with Giovanni and not just telling me what I want to hear. They are very knowledgeable as well as open to new ideas as presented when it comes to reading. I work at a library at a school and have explained things I have learned in my 26 years when it comes to struggles in reading for most people. I was surprised to think that they would even take into consideration what my experience was in reading struggles and what I had learned regarding speed reading. They were not aware what its like for someone who struggles with reading. My explanation of bad reading habits with non readers who are not illiterate but just struggle reading have that cause them to not want to read at all. They were amazed at my insight as to why people do not like to read or are illiterate in the first place. They are good listeners and have a good report with people. If I only had one complaint it would be for the company in general to get away from the computer in the beginning and to only use it as necessary. I'm not sure if that is even true but I didn't get a good understanding of how the computer is used in tutoring as far as a learning tool. Learning on a computer is not good for memory. Other then that I wouldn't go to any other tutoring agency but Huntington Learning Center.

My son is getting more out of Huntington than he does going to school everyday. The one on one does wonders for him academically. Every kid learns at their own pace and Huntington understands that. It really helps bridge the gap for my son. Huntington has caged the game for our family.

In less than 2 months my son has managed to go from a 3rd grade level to a 5th grade reading level. We still have so much more to cover but as of now, I'm a very happy and satisfied mom.

What we liked about the services was how they kept you informed with progress and things that needed to still be worked on. The ability to reschedule to another day and time if needed.

I came to Huntington to bridge the gap, and it is exceeding my expectations! My sons grades are improving and he enjoyed the time he spends here!

Our daughter is doing well in school but has been struggling to maintain. We have solicited tutors in hopes that would help her but she wasn’t able to stay focused with other distractions around the home. Huntington provides the environment necessary, kind, professional, supportive instructors and a cool sticker reward system that all collectively contribute towards a successful experience. We also value the assessment program, which targets areas of concern while eliminating areas which she has already mastered. This streamlines the process and guarantees that each child receives the attention they require in the specific areas where help is needed.

So far, the communication is great. They let you know how your child is doing every few weeks and they are very detailed in how they are progressing. They tell you their goals for your child to keep them motivated and enjoy going to class.
