Coach was equal with all players, made it fun and my son has learned the fundamentals of flag football. My son said "he (coach) is nice, he taught me how to play flag football, and he gave good energy to everyone".
I love that I9 is available for my daughter to learn soccer. She had a wonderful coach, Josh Peynetsa! She is learning how to play and work in a group. The word of the day lessons are wonderful and my daughter was excited to receive an achievement medal. Thank you I9. We look forward to many more soccer seasons!
Great format (practice and game in the same day). Game rules tailored to age group. Supportive referees. It's incredible to hear the referees cheer on the kids and help them learn the game. The resources for the coaches are helpful.
We like the positive atmosphere. The game times are great, the optional practices are a plus, and the sportsmanship amongst the players have been wonderful.
We like that our children have the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports. Sports have helped boost our son's confidence. I like that he is learning to play as part of a team.
The only downside this spring has been the various locations we have had to travel to instead of having one home court where we intended to be near our home.
i9 has been a positive experience for our family.
We really like the multi sport option to offer a controlled dynamic with coach and team but my child gets to figure out what he likes the most. Coach Tim has been great with all of the kids and my son responds well to him. Definitely recommend!
I like that i9 has variety of intermediate players to advance players and it’s just a great community builder especially for sports. We play at North Domingo Baca park soccer 10-14 and the only complaint I have is the un even teams. We only have three teams in our age group but there was one week where we only had 6 players all together when the other team we were playing must’ve had 10 players all together. Our team was struggling to sub in players due to not having that many and the other team was able to sub out all of their players for new ones (keep in mind this was our second game of a double header). Kids were tired and were starting to get injured (it happens). I know it depends on how many people sign up but it would be easier if everyone had around the same amount of players. Other than that the program is recommended.
The kids are all able to get play time. The expectation is that the children learn sportsmanship and true values of being a team player.
I don't like that coaches are allowed to coach without wearing a coach jersey and players are playing in street clothes instead of wearing their i9 sports jersey.
