This program is easy to do. Having the practice and game on the same day has been very convenient. This was my first time signing up my son and he has enjoyed the whole experience.
The coaches are really good about making it fun! It’s never about making things hard, or really “drilling” kids. It’s clear the coaches love the sports and want them to love it too!!
They teach during the first half and have the game on the second half of the session. This allows to immediately try and practically apply the techniques and rules whatever they learn in the first half.
This way of learning and practically applying that immediately will make them to understand this sport easily and will result in good progress.
Also, the coaches are very encouraging and they give attention to every child throughout the session.
The staff are very wonderful to work with especially Tasha she has been very supportive of my son & helping make it possible for Jared to be able to participate in every sport he has played. Thank you Tasha & I9 sports for your help & encouragement.
Easy to sign up and minimum effort required to attend games. Games and practices are easily scheduled on the same day allowing for other activities during the week.
The ease of registering, the sportsmanship values that are being taught to my 5 year old. The coach is so amazing and caring for these little kids and we really appreciate hard-work and dedication of him and his family. The practice and game being on same day and the medals for appreciation makes the kids feel special.
Everything has been super easy. From viewing the schedule online, to text reminders the day before (with all pertinent details), to signing up for snacks. Even the jersey being the same jersey regardless of which color your team is that week. Love!
I love the i9 programs, they are super high quality and I appreciate the sports participation encouragement and education my son is getting.
A few suggestions: 1. Better communication with parents about the coach/team situation - we've done many seasons of basketball but have never quite understood how it works. Sometimes we have parent coaches, sometimes not. Sometimes there are distinct teams, sometimes the teams switch weekly. Sometimes the same kids play together every week, other times we switch around to play against other teams. Wish there was more communication about how it works.
2. Be more clear about times - I thought the 6-7 basketball was still 60 minutes, but it seems to be 90 minutes in reality?
My kids have loved the sports camp. They have had lots of fun and are excited to continue playing the sports. I love the inclusive environment and the encouragement for sportsmanship. My son absolutely loves his sportsmanship award!
