I love that Basketball is offered pretty much year round (maybe that’s the case with all sports but we’ve only ever done basketball). Makes it very easy to find a session that works with busy schedules.
This was our first year, and I thought it was run very well. Having practice and games on the same day made things so much easier for our family. The location at Middlesex Park was also great because while practice was happening, I could take my younger child to play at the park. Our coach, Adam, was so kind to the kids and great at communicating with us. I loved that our son got the chance to learn the sport without feeling like he was behind because even the referee was encouraging and gave the kids direction. We have already signed up for Fall!
It’s a good introductory program for kids who are looking to try a new sport or who are looking to stay active throughout the year. We have had a great experience the last few seasons. Would recommend!
Our 9 year old son LOVES i9 Basketball! The coaches are great, fair, caring, compassionate and encouraging. Our son gets to play every game and he comes home feeling like he was part of a team :) We have done several seasons with i9 Basketball and he is signed up for the next season as well!
This has been such a wonderful experience for our family. I tell everyone that will listen about i9 sports! Thank you for bringing the fun back to youth sports, we are so glad we found this program.
I like the fact that it is only once a week with the practice and game following each other. This helps us fit it into our schedule. The times of the practice/game are very reasonable also (not at 7 am or 8 pm!). I also appreciate the fact that this is treated as an intramural sport- not super competitive and everyone gets to play.
I like that it's competitive, but fun. The kids are ready to play and it's not a huge time commitment.
I wish there was a way to have some coaches lined up beforehand, but I understand.
