I really like how well organized the program is. The coaches are positive, patient, and encouraging, and they create a fun and supportive environment for the kids. My child feels included and enjoys coming every week. The communication with parents is clear and timely, which I really appreciate.
Reduced weekly time as the practice and game are at the same time. I also love the solid set up each week and ref experience as it seems like its paid adults.
Our i9 rep out our games is great (a young lady who works the girls 8-10y old team). This organizational presence has been the difference from other leagues that prevents hyper competitiveness and unmanaged over-enthusiastic parents affecting the kids.
The I9 teams working the fields are extremely good. I have worked with Dan (Team Lead) for seven different season and have found him and his team to be very helpful on site. Working with management has been at times very difficult. Its hard to get help and be provided timely assistance. All problems and concerns have been worked out but the time it takes to arrive at a solution is difficult.
We’ve had a great experience with this youth basketball league. It is well organized, responsive, and clearly values sportsmanship and teamwork. Communication is strong, and the overall environment is positive and supportive for the kids.
One area for improvement could be offering more guidance or resources for parent coaches, many of whom are committed but not formally trained in basketball. This could further enhance the quality of practices.
Overall, a strong, well-run league that we would happily recommend.
Two weeks into our six week volleyball season and coaches are upbeat, engaging, knowledgeable and friendly. My daughter is trying a new sport and loves it!
I like how there is a staff member leading each week's practice, and the team coaches are able to focus on the kids and not strategies or plays. It also helps that it's a one day a week commitment, not two or more (with separate practice and game days).
I really like how the I9 staff (Coach Noah specifically) gives the kids great coaching and tips that my kid really takes to heart. Just from two weeks of Noah’s coaching, my son is more enthusiastic about taking it strong to the hoop, eyes up dribbling, and even left handed layups! (All things I’ve tried to teach, but my son respects the advice so much more when it comes from someone better at bball haha.) Please tell Noah thank you!
