We have been with i9 for several years and have loved it! The coaches are so supportive and encouraging and are really passionate about teaching volleyball!
We love that practices and games happen all at one time, once a week on Saturdays. With 4 kids in school, we don't want to be running them all to practice and games after school every day.
This season has been phenomenal. My son played basketball and had an amazing experience. The I-9 staff who coached were supportive and positive. There was always a lot of staff members there to cheer on the team and to encourage, and there were ample referees to help teach the game. The facility was top-notch, it was a great basketball gym. My son has had the chance to play with other teammates, and to learn how new basketball skills. This has been a great experience, and definitely a good launchpad for my son to play on additional teams. Thank you I-9!
The weekly Sportsmanship Values provide a great foundation for future student athletes. Our coaches have always had good rotations and athlete development. Not only an league where everyone plays, but for us, every athlete becomes a playmaker.
I love how they are all inclusive, you don’t have to be a year-around player to participate! My kids join and feel welcomed with players on all levels!
This specific program at the field at St. Thomas is organized, well staffed, and I’ve seen progress in my son. From the moment we walked up, there was a Coach handing out jerseys, players were being lined up by age, and drills were being explained- as a parent and former Teacher, I loved it!
The refs are great, although did count over 12 refs on the sidelines during one game and it seems excessive. Was really bummed my daughters team did not get to play more teams and in hindsight, I would not have continued with the season. Other than that, i9 is very organized and the refs are always positive and encouraging.
My son and I love I9 sports because each week the child is taught something new about the sport! Also the sportsmanship values are new each week and are integrated in with the sport! The entire program and people are much like family by the end of each season. My son likes that the refers don’t only call the fouls, however they tell them what they did wrong and teach them what to do right! We love i9 sports !
Love the overall program & that every child gets to play in the game and not sit on the bench. One thing I would change is make the practice just a bit longer so the get more skills out of it. Instead of only 30 minute practice make an hour long.
The coaches are very patient and teach with care. They help the children with confidence. Coaches help them open up to others. Especially kids their own age.
I like how everyone gets playing time and Coach Ashely is awesome. She really teaches the kids and doesn't just let them go out there and do what they want. They are learning fundimentals and how to play the right way.
