The only flaw was during the initial sign up, it was stating that the location was going to be in the Norwood Park area. This was one of the main reasons we signed up for this program. Then a few days before the actual practice started, they gave an Elgin location, which is an 40 min drive to and from where we live. That was not cool but kept my daughter enrolled because we had already talked about going and she was excited about it. And I’m glad we kept her in! The staff and coaches are really good with the kids and really teach them skills on how to play the game. Over all, we are really happy with this clinic and will sign her up again but I hope this time it will be closer to home!
Nice/appropriate mix of teaching the fundamentals of football---but realizing that they're only 1st graders, lol.
IMO, 1. teach a love of the game; 2. teach them the skills; 3. they're still kids so let it develop naturally; honorary #4. losing/being humbled sucks, but that's how you get better, lol
i9 does all four!
we enjoyed the coach how she introduced the players to team mentality, the fundamentals and what hustle looks like. This was a great experience for our daughter.
Our coach is great with the team! The team is having fun and learning at the same time without pressure to win. We have had our son in many different sport teams and this is the first time he has not been stressed and wants to pursue football! It’s a wonderful feeling ❤️
Coach Liz is absolutely the heart and soul of this experience! I would recommend i9 Sports to everyone. Incredibly positive experience. Great skills and sportsmanship training. Feel lucky we found you
We love that the coaches are so supportive. They always have good, structured drills and activities for the kids. This session, the kids varied greatly in age and ability, and the coaches did a great job differentiating the activities, teaching sportsmanship, and facilitating a serious but fun environment. We were really impressed.
