My child is learning new skills and enjoys meeting kids from other schools. Coaches are always positive and professional. We will be back again in fall :)
I love that the league encourages participation. Simple things like 3 serves per kid are so so helpful to building skills and confidence. Weekly awards are great as well. This experience has been invaluable for my athletically challenged yet enthusiastic kids. So glad we participated.
I like the combination of practice and games, and the relatively relaxed level of competitiveness. I think Daveon is a rockstar.
I don’t like that some teams seem overloaded and entirely comprised of kids who all know each other, leaving others to join teams of all strangers and with much smaller rosters. The juxtaposition at games can be pretty striking.
I love that the teams meet at the same time, same day, same place every week. I like that it is not overly competitive. I think the price is acceptable.
I really appreciate how the program promotes inclusivity while creating a fun, supportive environment where students can learn volleyball, build skills, and enjoy the game.
Love the format of once a week practice and game for young athletes. Even the opportunity to coach for parents is great. I do not like that new jerseys, medals, and trophies are given every single season. Give a discount for not accepting any of those things! We don't need more "junk" in the house or on the planet. Also the low ceiling at Bell Elementary is horrendous. Especially for kids learning to play VB. After this spring season we will be looking for where else to sign up as playing there is not ideal.
How well it is organized. Also, I really appreciate the help Joe gave us on getting my daughter’s best friend signed up last minute so they can continue to play volleyball on the same team. They always have great customer service and work well with parents. Thank you i9!
We are new to i9. I like that it's organized. Adults are respectful during the game. The athletes are supportive of each other. It's an open, comfortable environment where the kids seem to be having fun, learning and honing skills. All while still being competitive.
