I like the structure of a practice and then the game on Saturday.
A couple of the coaches are real focused on teaching the kids the sport.
Areas of growth:
Tell coaches to put their phones away.
A couple coaches are not focused on teaching the kids the sport, just kind of hanging out.
i9 Sports gives families an easy way to introduce kids to sports. I like the variety of sports offered- baseball, soccer, football, volleyball and basketball. It is very convenient to have practice and games on the same day.
I really enjoy the fun atmosphere that encourages learning and growth in a sport vs the high pressure/competitive environment that other leagues have. I also really like having the practice and games back to back. This allows me to enroll my son without the stress of getting to practice multiple times throughout the week which is extremely valuable as we live in Ramona and have a considerable drive. My son and I are very happy with our first season with i9 and he is enrolled for summer season.
I thought the coaching was really good. One of the volleyball coaches in particular spent a lot of time helping each child individually. They were also always really positive with the kids. I was impressed!
We love the football coaches. So attentive and patient especially with football. I am glad I put them in this season so they could have someone who really understands the game — and be able to slow it down and teach them the fundamentals
My kids love it! They are in basketball (age 6) and baseball (age 4). The sports are very fun, and the kids are always smiling and having a good time. The coaches are very nice and supportive of the kids. I love that i9 promotes having fun and good sportsmanship (over winning/being competitive). At this age, I want my kids to be active, learn new skills, and have fun, so that they grow and develop a lifelong interest in sports.
Good coaching, knowledgeable instructors, good with the kids. My son has played baseball, basketball and football with i9 Sports. My only criticism is that lately there is 50 mins of instruction and drilling, and only 10 minutes of play in football this year. my 5yr old has lost interest in football as a result. Thankfully he still loves basketball and baseball.
Only once a week but kids get plenty of time to learn and play. Not too crowded so all kids get play time. Friendly staff and clean, nice venues. Reasonably priced and always respond to questions.
