Fun introduction for young kids. No pressure, and even the youngest get to play actual games, all of the competition offers skill drills only for the 3-4 year olds...that practice is very discouraging for small tikes!
I like that I can pick one day a week for the kids to practice and they have a Game the same day. Other places ask you to pay first, don’t tell you which day of the week the kids will have practice and the the games are on the weekends, again not knowing in advance at what time or where they are going to play. Kids don’t need organized competition until they have practice a sport enough time.
I like the equal play rule. I do wish practice was longer than 30 minutes. When we signed up we thought practice was 1 hour followed by a 1 hour game. My son is 6 and can easily do 2 hours. Why such a short practice and a short game as well?
They are well organized. Great communication to the parents and coaches and plenty of resources. Makes it pretty easy to be a coach. Also a fan of the competitiveness yet overall positive vibe across players/parents/coaches/referees.
