Once a week. Practice before game so those who are late still make the game. The atmosphere is more laid back than other sports so shy kids have more fun.
Kids activities have become quite out of hand, my opinion. I appreciate that I9 sticks to the foundational aspects of being a kid and engaging in activities; team player, good listener, age appropriate expectations, having fun, and physical growth. I also appreciate that the commitment is practice followed by the game.
The communications are excellent with appropriate, precise communications via email and text messages. Swift sign up and uniform ordering/delivery. The staff I have come across and not even in direct contact, some just passing by and witnessing (check-in, referees, and photographers) have all been professional, engaging, and collaborative.
Thanks for a great experience this season!
First year in the soccer program, so far so good no issues! I love that it is low commitment. One day a week is perfect for our family. My child gets to socialize and learn new skills without harsh competition like larger organizations have. It’s plain fun and skill building at a younger age.
I like how the programs are age appropriate and focused more on basic sportsmanship skills than athletic ability. It makes it so much more fun! My child wanted to quit sports all together after this past years city rec league, it was so competitive and she was barely given a chance to play and improve. She’s having a much better time in the i9 league and the confidence boost alone makes her a better athlete! I’m so glad she can just have fun and enjoy a sport thru i9 without the pressure of being the best
