This is our second season of soccer with 3 to 4-year-olds. We had coach Kevin for our fall season and for winter season right now we have Coach Scott. My son takes a little longer than the others. It seems like to warm up and get on the field both coaches have been incredibly patient and gone out of their way to get him to feel comfortable and confident participating.
I just suggested the weekly rec program at the ES because my daughter is being exposed to many sports that she typically wouldn't play and finding them fun to try. The Volleyball Clinic is giving her an opportunity to learn volleyball form and best practices in a non judgmental environment. It's been nice to watch my very girly girl become physical and not feel compelled to always wear dresses, and get outside to be physical. The coaches are very friendly, but firm and have a plethora of knowledge. They do a really good job of giving on the spot feedback which is so necessary for young learners. I think that is one of the key components to why I feel I see improvement each time she attends the weekly clinic.
I love the practice and game on the same day. I like the practice is already scheduled in it. My son's soccer coach was patient, fair, and made an effort to know all players. My son had a good experience!
It's a great introduction to any sport. I would like to see programs that also focus on specific technique, even if it's a little longer meeting times.
i9 offers fantastic instructional sports programs for children. My son has participated in both basketball and soccer, and it’s been a great experience each time. Coach Cameron and his team are amazing—extremely patient, supportive, and encouraging with all the kids. While the programs can be a bit pricey, I believe they’re well worth the investment.
I like that everything seems structured and organized but obviously at the same time, since we are working with special needs kids, there is also no pressure.
I love the variety of options in Sports & Locations.
The registration process was easy as well. Splitting up the payments really helps especially in today’s economy. The different backgrounds of families. It’s alot of fun for the kids & keeps them active.
The Flag Football program is well run. The coaches are phenomenal and the kids are learning a lot. This is our first year, but we will definitely continue to participate.
We love i9 and have played with you guys for several years now. Both of our boys are having a blast in soccer this year and my husband is enjoying coaching as he always does too!
One thing I wanted to mention is that we have had some inconsistent experiences with refs this season. Some are great and super attentive. One in particular (I’m not sure of her name) is less enthusiastic and not so on top of the game and the kids. She went two weeks without a whistle, so that was tough for the kids to hear when play was being stopped. She also doesn’t call out players using their hands or getting aggressive. We had one game in particular with one player who was doing a lot of pushing and shoving the other kids. The coaches on our team were aware of it and trying to help, but the ref didn’t say anything or do anything to comment on or help prevent this behavior.
In general, we have had a great experience with i9 and will definitely continue to play - just thought the inconsistent ref experience was worth bringing to your attention!
Thank you so much!
