Structure (for 5yo) keeps kids engaged. Practice first and then play. Kids have opportunity to learn the game and then apply.
Coaching staff are encouraging and supportive.
Value awards teach kids life skills outside of the sport and motivates them to incorporate those values in daily life. My son was awarded the sportsmanship medal and still talks about what it means to support others and try your hardest.
The coaches make this program worth every penny! My son is on the 3-4 year team and I was worried about how they'd handle the random temper tantrums because someone didn't "share" or the meltdowns because of a "boo-boo". The coaches don't seem to get frustrated or irritable - they handle it with grace! The game still goes on despite the random outbursts from the kids which is great for other kids who are enjoying the moment. It is all very organized and we plan on hanging with i9 sports for many years to come!
This is my son’s first experience playing soccer. The coaches from Liberty make the game fun and my son is learning fundamental soccer skills and having a blast doing so. I9 is well organized and the once a week practice and game make it easy to fit kids sports into a busy schedule.
I love everything about this program! I have participated in another i9 area programs and this is the best by far! I love the communication and the fact that William attended the jamboree, introduced himself and made himself available. I feel like my children have tremendously benefited from this structure- being coached by soccer players and getting instruction on skills from a former professional player. They actually learn and have fun.... what more can a parent ask for? For as long as we participate in i9, it will be with South Wake!!!
