Same day practice. Staff are involve so there are always people to take care of iany issues (not that we really need any). Uniforms are also delivered or available there. We don’t need to take extra trips.
I’m not sure about everybody getting a medal but our son loves getting them. It makes him feel accomplished.
The coaches are very genuinely nice and caring. They are enthusiastic and committed to being an example for the girls. Overall great experience so far.
They are not super competitive, which is great for a child that hasn’t been playing since he was little and who really wants to be part of the group, but is still learning to play. I like the short weekly time commitment so we aren’t spending time driving to games and practices.
Encouraging, not highly competitive environment great for learning something new. We had an overly competitive, overly winning focused experience with SYC that was really tough on our very shame-sensitive kid. This is much, much healthier.
The structure is great. I feel it could be more beneficial for the Basketball league in particular if teams could be 10 or less. With 11 or more it seems playing time csn be impacted and take away from a child's experience and learning
Once per week is perfect for kids to try new and different sports. After a few sessions, my child could see her progress for herself. Coach Brown is skilled, builds interest, and makes it fun.
