The coach of my son‘s basketball team is amazing. He makes sure all the kids are emotionally safe and encouraged but at the same time he’s teaching them the fundamentals of basketball and he really cares if they’re learning, he knows how to exactly balance teaching and fun. My son is having a positive experience.
We’ve really enjoyed the i9 Sports program for our daughter, especially as a beginner in volleyball. The coaches were patient and supportive, creating a fun and encouraging environment. She learned so much during the camp and gained a lot of confidence in her skills. We’re so glad we chose i9 to help her start her volleyball journey!
The coaches. Very knowledgeable. They are friendly but also firm which will toughen up their play. Overall, we love the coaches and have seen such a big improvement on how my son plays basketball.
Coach Brown is phenomenal! She really works with the girls in a positive environment but at the same time focusing on their skills and working to see improvement each week.
I-9 Is such a great program to learn a new sport, team work, discipline, have fun and you don't have not to worry about someone making fun of you. One and done practice and play game.
This is great for families that want to get their kids involved with sports but are looking for a less competitive environment.
I think opening day would be much more organized if coaches checked in 10 minutes before start time and were sent to their field and then all families checked in and were given their shirts and sent to their coach/field vs doing a willy nilly role call.
Practice plans for volunteer coaches are really helpful and should be shown as an example when asking for volunteers. I would've been quicker to raise my hand to coach if I knew it the plans were provided.
First time parent with a kid in i9 and I have been very impressed with the drills the coach has the kids do. I thought the drills were too advance for my kid but she has done well and has learned valuable skills in such a short period of time.
Coaches are great! They seem like they are having fun themselves, and that sets a good tone. Refs are also great and seem to strike a good balance between giving grace and teaching rules to the young kids.
