Ice really enjoyed the program and how flexible it is with a once a week practice/game day. My daughter had the opportunity to be in a team where it was very fun and interactive. I really liked that. It was not too serious and just more playful. It made it easy and light to keep up with
Ease of registration process, not overly competitive, love that the kids have fun! Our son went from sports shy to actually playing and learning thanks to the coaches!
I like how it teaches the fundamentals for the chosen sport and provides a base line to further their abilities. Well done program.
The only suggestion I would make is to provide a little more guidance to the coaches when it comes to playing their own kids. This is about team learning and everyone deserves an opportunity to play each position. They should not only be playing their kid in the key positions such as quarterback. Even if another child is not great at it, it still provides the opportunity and instills confidence within the players. Thank you for all that is done. Joe is a terrific coordinator.
This is our first year trying i9 for baseball, and we've loved it! My son was looking for a casual way to just play some recreational baseball, and this fit is idea perfectly. While I could see other's concerns for the structure and discipline, this program is a better fit for those either just starting out or wanting a more relaxed atmosphere (think pick up baseball Saturday vibes!). We love the coaches, so supportive and encouraging!
I gave the i9sports program a 9 and not a 10 cause it is a co-ed program and it has multiple varieties of sports but the only thing I don't like is that practice is only once a week instead maybe it should be 2-3 times a week, especially for me and maybe other people want want to get better with their performance. I haven't played in 5 years and some change and I wanna get back to myself and who I was, especially if you see yourself in the future taking this sport to the extreme. Yes, I know I can practice at home, but it could be nice to just show up to the stadium and practice with your teammates.
Where to begin? Joe the owner is ever present and willing to listen to all feedback. He is serious about keeping it fun for the kids. I've seen him on at least three occasions having to step in to deescalate a parent situation and I'm so grateful every time. He is well respected by the coaches, refs and other parents.
The practice and games are on the same days, so it is much more convenient for the family. The communication is fantastic. There is never any question on where we are to go, what's the plan, has the weather impacted our game and even reminders that it is picture day. Nothing is left to guessing.
Our coach this season has been amazing. He is super encouraging, strong male role model and fun!
I appreciate this program so much, we have been coming for years and will hate to see it end.
Thank you!!
It's been a great way to introduce my little guy to team sports in a positive, inclusive, pressure-free atmosphere. The program is run very well and the coaches are so patient and keep things fun. My 4-year-old loves it and has gained a lot of confidence since he started at age 3.
