Our amazing Les Mills Body Attack/Pump and Grit trainer.
She is dedicated and always gives us motivation to push our limits at each course.
Besides that, the gym is clean and there is a sauna to relax after working out.
Glad a new weighing scale has been added.
Classes are good.
Equiptment is very good.
Plenty of space.
Area for a sled or farmers walks would be great but understandably space for such a thing may be limited.
Weights areas could benefit from a small area for skipping or a circuits station. Something small for a cardio buster on sets. Limted enough upstairs and you have to leave the weights area for this downstairs.
The continuous changes in classes and updating to new technologies help challenge the body to become better and better. I really like the GRIT classes which are completely new to me and Dave's early Friday morning functional class which utilises the new equipment is particularly good. Dave's spin classes are of legendary status and it is of huge significance to me that he has returned particularly given his challenging skills, his interest in members, his passion and his professionalism. And Mairead's boxing classes are untouchable!
Fundamentally the comradery with the fellow members and the social aspect makes the gym more homely and welcoming. Special thanks to Kevin Somerville and Ruth Cavanagh who always helps members get better and better.
You have really great trainers in Dave , Mairead, Martin and Jack.
It is more than a gym - its a fellowship in many ways.
I always say Carlsberg don't do health clubs but if they did.....
