I love that there are so many locations near me. I love the classes offered. I do wish that more places offered pilates vs yoga. I do wish that the swimming classes for children would be offered as part of the price for the gym membership or a least be cheaper than if I were to take them to another swim lesson location. Otherwise the staff are amazing and the locations are fairly clean over all. Some of the equipment is newer than the other but I do love it. The classes are also really fun too.

My wife and I were at InShape last week and my wife realized that she forgot her EarPods. She asked Isaiah at the front desk if there were some headphones/EarPods that she could borrow. Isaiah looked around for some but told her unfortunately there weren’t any. About 30minutes later Isaiah tracks her down in the club and brought her his personal EarPods to use. What an incredibly thoughtful gesture for this young man to do, totally uncalled for and very much appreciated. Aside from his normal amazing customer service (he always greets me by my name and engages in conversation when I enter the club) Isaiah made my wife’s visit to the club a great experience. Isaiah was awesome! I forgot my headphones last time I was in & he tried to help me find something in lost & found that I could borrow & when there was nothing there, he took his own out of his gym bag & sanitized them & was going to lend them to me. Turns out they didn't have enough charge for me to pair so he put them on the charger & said he’d come find me. So I went off & tried to wrap my head around a quiet workout but 15 minutes later he shows up where I was lifting weights & gets me set up! Totally went above & beyond! Today when I checked in, he went over my checklist of gloves, water bottles & earphones! Made sure I was set. Always has a smile & looks like he’s happy to see you & happy to be working there. Must have been Antoinette who trained him because she is the same way. We had some questions about the cost of our membership (another member/friend had mentioned a discount she received through her health insurance) so Antionette took the time with my husband & I to see what we could do differently but it seems like we are on the best plan for our needs. She was willing to take the time to customize something for us. These are the reasons we enjoy working out at In Shape in Citrus Heights even though we go to several other of the local clubs because of specific amenities.

This club is complete. Great staff-clean facility-The weight room is so easy to use. Lots of weights and machines. The layout of the club is very good. Clean Locker room -basketball court-Racquetball courts. Spacious one level club. Pool is not a lap pool-but sauna and steam is in the rear by the pool and that is well planned for more privacy. I'd recommend this club to anyone.
