Nice branch of In-Shape, makes me envious as we live about 45 minutes from Folsom, so we cannot come regularly and it would be a "field trip" to come here. The 2 closest large gyms closest to the size of Folsom in my area are Elk Grove Bond and Elk Grove Laguna. In comparison, they look and feel like 3rd-world countries compared to Folsom's In-Shape gym, with its general cleanliness, vast expanse of space over 2 floors, with three big outdoors pools including an Olympic sized lap pool, AND a spa/hot tub, sauna for each gender and the men's locker room was decent sized too. Especially the shower area, it is much cleaner than in either Elk Grove locations any time of the day. Sad that there's such discrepancy. Basketball courts were under remodeling w/flooring getting replaced at Folsom when we visited, but otherwise, the gym was in good shape, this should be the standard at all locations. My son enjoyed the rock climbing wall and the hours of availability for the wall is so much more at Folsom than at Laguna which is the only reasonably close location with rock-climbing for us.
