I’ve been a member of In‑Shape for a while now, and the changes over the past few months deserve real praise. The club feels refreshed from the moment you walk in floors gleam, equipment is wiped down regularly, and the locker rooms no longer feel like an afterthought.  My personal highlight is the yoga program. Classes are now offered throughout the day with instructors who blend challenge and mindfulness perfectly. I leave each session feeling both centered and surprisingly stronger. I love going to Yoga Flow with Iwona! Lisa is wonderful to see around as well! They are both very helpful and inspirational! Small touches also stand out: hand sanitizing and gym equipment sanitizing stations actually work. Suggestions: I’d love to see a dedicated “pink room” weight area upstairs just like the Shingle Springs location. A space with lighter weights, mirrors, and that motivating splash of color would round out the already great improvements. Maybe more opportunity for pickleball as well.

In Shape Folsom is one of the best gyms out there. It's fully equipped, nice pool area, adequate space, smoothie & snack center, as well great trainers! Shout out to Dave who does the VTL fitness training classes at Folsom & Rancho Cordova, I'm hooked to his classes! I'm very happy to be a member again, bye bye Calfit and hello In shape !

The club is always clean, their are multiple machines for every body part, allowing you to vary your routine very easily, or use a different, similar machine if your first choice is busy at the moment … the atmosphere in the club is casual and comfortable, and the staff is always friendly and helpful… makes it a good place to hang out for a while and get some exercise.
