I love the 29-minute circuit. Perfect at my age and physical strength. HOWEVER, people do not follow the timer. Skipping and going back and just trying to recall where you are at in the rotation creates frustration and steals alot of the joy.
Good hours. Good equipment.
Negatives are: people who use the circuit and just sit there. IS has put up signs but people don’t read them or do it.
Water on the floor from swimmers who don’t dry off and track water. A major hazard if someone slips and falls.
It is generally a clean atmosphere.
They have a sufficient amount of equipment that seems to be taken care of and remains in good order.
I enjoy having a weight room outside,
And the staff is helpful when needed.

The class offerings are the best. We just began family swim lessons and I regularly attend fitness classes, all of which are great. I especially appreciate the instructors who put their time and effort into making even the earliest morning classes engaging and challenging. I have to give a special shout out to Tom Hale and Nonnie for their Freestyle Cycle classes that take a lot of dedication to create playlists that are fun for the workouts and a great break from the redundancy of the choreographed Les Mills classes like RPM and Sprint. They are fantastic instructors that are the reason I cycle at the gym instead of at home.
I attend the VFit classes regularly at 6 PM and truly appreciate the energy and effort Kristi puts into each session.
However, I’ve noticed that the same set of exercises are often repeated multiple times within a week. It would be great to have five distinct workout routines across the weekdays, ideally following a 4-week cycle. This variety would help keep the sessions engaging and balanced.
A few regular members have mentioned that they’re stepping away due to the lack of variety, and I’d really love to see them continue.
The pool during summer is not very clean can there be cleaning scheduled at least once a day. I could see pulled off bandages, hair, dirt at the base. Is there anyway the outside pool could be kept more cleaner.
I only come for the classes so I don’t use the floor or pool. I like that there are a good variety of classes and that they start early. I also think we have some of the best instructors.
