The gym is always clean. It has an indoor heated pool so it's easier to workout in if you have arthritis. The instructors are friendly and helpful.

The gym location in Modesto is great, but the only issue is inside the steam room—people come in with their boots, which creates a bad smell. Also, the carpet around the pool is not clean. If more attention is given to these areas, it would be much better

Two Amazing Aqua instructors, Sherrie & Veronica. My personal opinion is that they should be the models of what an Aqua instructor is and does for In-Shape! -They always show up prepared. -Their music is upbeat and loud enough for all to hear, and they regularly change and update playlists for everyone’s enjoyment. -They are always updating and revising their routines, so it’s never boring. -They will explain exercises clearly and more than once, and if any one is struggling they will go help them. But never push attendees out of their physical abilities, and encourage everyone to modify to fit their bodies. -They always have smiles on their faces -If anyone stops before or after class to chat, they treat them as their best friends, always making them feel important. The energy in their classes is extremely high, and if you are at all skeptical of my review I highly encourage you to attend their classes. But word of warning; sign up early cause these classes are always full, well that’s not totally true, they are often over capacity!!! Please hire more aqua instructors like these two, to make more fantastic classes available!!

I've been a proud member of inshape for years now and I've been thrilled about what the new equipment they've added and redesigning the gym floor. The gym now feels more open and with the new equipment it actually feels less crowded because of the opportunities to do different things. Can't wait to see what they add in the future.

The facility is clean, has lots of equipment for just about any fitness need, the staff is friendly, and it has swimming pools. I haven't tried any of the classes offered, but I may in the future.
