I like the pool and the Aqua Fit class with instructor Massiel. I like the BodyPump class with instructor Aloha. I also like the weight lifting machines. I like the women’s locker room and I enjoy the showers and changing rooms.
September the manager runs the facility very professionally. Specifically, the pool is kept at the CORRECT temperature of around 82 degrees. I am forced to drive 34 miles round trip from my home because the Palmdale West pool is kept between 75-78 degrees, which is too cold for my arthritis. Despite repeated complaints from club members, the manager refuses to address the problem. We've been told:
1. "The Homeless steal parts from the heater." Right. Homeless people carry wrenches with them, and there's a huge after-market for parts for commercial pools.
2. "The Homeless unplug the heater." The heater is a gas heater, and is piped in to the gas supply. There is nothing to "unplug."
3. "The Homeless put trash into the top of the heater to try to make it hotter to keep warm." Right. And if this were true, couldn't you put a wire mesh over the top so they couldn't do that?
So, any excuse for failing to do THEIR job to make the heater work properly. And that's why I am sometimes FORCED to waste my gas and an extra HOUR of my time to patronize the East Palmdale facility.
From the moment I walk into the gym I’m welcomed with a smile and a good morning!! All the staff is great. The gym is always clean, I always see Sam early in the morning cleaning (it’s noticeable when he’s on vacation). Having been to other gyms in the area including inshape west Palmdale, this is why I, and many other people I know choose inshape east Palmdale. The staff, the clean environment, and the overall welcoming feeling this creates.
The staff are Really nice and helpful the gym is very clean and bathrooms are somewhat clean as well overall the gym is clean and have a lot of nice people keep up the good work it’s very important to all staff and members
I really enjoy this location. It is very clean and there are a lot of equipments to use. I do wish they had more recycling bins instead of the one in front.
