In Shape Porterville continues to maintain a high standard in both its facility and overall environment. The building is always spotless, and the cleanliness truly stands out. What makes it even better is the heartfelt warmth of the staff—their greetings and family‑like atmosphere make every visit feel special.
Porterville inshape is awesome. I’ve recently been to a few others out of town, and nothing comes close to my home gym. The equipment is great and the staff is friendly. Thanks to the GM Matt and his team.
Their upkeep on equipment is wonderful and there's plenty of options, I'm wondering if an infinite ladder would be out of the question for the gym? It's an all over body workout so I'm hoping it would get great use. I also love the steam and sauna, though in the ladies changing rooms I noticed the walls (in the smaller stall definitely) haven't been cleaned properly in a while and it makes me not want to touch them/be in there as there are temporary stains left from a while ago as well as a layer of dust building up near the ceiling so I know it's been a good minute since someone has went in there to scrub them. Other than that everything has been wonderful so far, thank you!
What I like about my experience at In-Shape is I get to do my exercises without judgement or criticism. Also to do my workouts at my pace and having the comfort with the activity. The staff is very courteous and available for help when needed. Sometimes I get told but they do it within reason, which I have no complaints for it. Anyways, I always enjoy coming to do my exercises and how it’s doing for me for health and wellness.
Onsite staff are terrific.
But the music is too loud, with new speakers right above the machines and treadmills.
Hurts my ears!!
Also, I understand the news channels are no longer on, in the cardiac room. Too bad. But what about the finance channels like CNBC? I really miss the news channels. The current channels on are VERY boring.
Please make sure the air conditioning is on during the upcoming months.
