Overall this is a great gym with a vast array of equipment to choose from which is extremely helpful. I workout here 4 days a week and always enjoy my time. My only disappointment is with the cleanliness of the mens locker room and showers which are consistently very dirty. I wish a crew would come in at least once a week to do a deep cleaning as it gets pretty disgusting. Other than that - all is well!

I joined In-Shape at one of the Elk Grove locations because I live down there. Took the "Sacramento Area" option because my 80-year-old mom lives alone in Roseville, and I am one of her caregivers. There's something intangible about it, but I love the atmosphere at the Roseville location so much more. It doesn't feel as busy as my "home gym" does at peak hours, and it feels a lot cleaner. Especially the locker room.

I like the facility a lot. Luckily, my Medicare covers the cost. It would be cost-prohibitive for me to be a member if Medicare didn't cover the fee. You keep the place up better than other gyms and I appreciate the cleanliness. I also like the locking system in the lockers. It's far better than the system in other gyms.
