I recently went back to Inshape Turlock recently after a long absence from injury… I was amazed how it was more opened up, organization was great… greeter and even cleaning staff even tho doing grunt work would still greet with a smile… looked immaculate

The staff is friendly, it's very open and bright, and I feel like I can get a good workout in with every visit. The only thing I would say -- which is extremely minor and not something that affects my workouts too much -- is that it would be nice if there were more than one of certain machines that people frequent. For example, there's only one Smith machine, and only one set of hip abductors, which are almost always in use with people waiting around for them when you want to use them. That's especially true when you're not able to show up at 4am; but even showing up at 5 am, I find the Smith machine is almost always in use. Having 1 or 2 more of them would be helpful to people like me who don't feel comfortable benching or squatting heavy weights without a spotter; and I don't want to be the guy hovering over a machine passive-aggressively rushing the person using it. So most days I just forego the workout I want to do for something else. But again, that's a very minor critique, and ultimately this gym has the best variety of options for a workout than other gyms in town, and the membership cost is fair for what you're getting. If the equipment I want to use is already taken, more often than not, there's an alternative workout I can do. Definitely would recommend Inshape to people looking for a good gym.

I like that it is convenient to me. I am in my 80’s, trying to recover from cancer treatments and regain my strength. The many classes give me options to start where I am and build my strength and endurance.

I have been a member at this In-Shape for around 10 years and have always had a good experience. Since having kids who are old enough now to go to the Kids Zone, my experience has improved from good to great! The Kids Zone staff, along with management, have all gone out of their way to make sure that my kids have fun and are safe. They communicate well with my wife and I, and treat us like extended family. It has given us the opportunity to have a complete workout without worry. Thank you In-Shape Monte Vista team!

There was a lot of people when I went but that did not stop me from getting a great workout in. I know how important these feedbacks are so I will comment that the garbage can in the area I was in was absolutely filled and overflowing, but an employee came and took the garbage and left a clean empty bag. I like to wipe/clean every machine before and after I use it so it's nice to be able to put the garage in the can to maintain the gym clean and presentable.
