I have been a member of Iron Tribe going on 10 years. It's all about the community and the coaches. The coaches are great and really work with you on the movements and provide alternatives movements if injured or not quite at the fitness level of the movements. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2022 and after surgery and the required time off to heal the coaches made sure I had a good workout plan to get back to where I was. I started Prime at this point which helped as my workouts were tailored to me and helped me work on strength after surgery and also helped me throughout my one month of radiation treatment in which I was able to work out through that month. Iron Tribe was a big part of my recovery and believe it has made me a stronger athelete. I have made life long friends here as the community is supportive and encouraging. It does not matter whether you are a top performing athelete or just starting out on your fitness journey the coaches will work with you on your goals.
Everyone is so welcoming! The coaches are highly qualified and they know all the clients and their particular goals, issues, etc. My fitness has improved greatly and at a pace which is sustainable though challenging. They are very good at adjusting exercises to avoid triggering any old injuries and pay close attention to all the athletes.
I’ll celebrate 10 years with ITF Brentwood this year — that should tell you something. Over the years, I’ve found the management and team at ITF have always been accommodating to whatever I’ve needed at the time, whether personal, business-related, or tied to a physical challenge. They consistently approach everything with, “The answer is yes — what’s the question?” I love that.
I’m 58 years old and on a mission to maximize my healthspan — to be a centenarian in the body of an 80-year-old. I recently had extensive testing done and was told I have the mobility age of a 28-year-old. That tells you everything you need to know about my 10-year investment in myself through IronTribe Fitness.
I love that the workouts are challenging, while also being variable enough to be approachable to any fitness level. It truly is your workout, without the stress of having to write it yourself. It’s fun to push yourself to better your own scores, or to push to beat the person next to you. Great community of people of all different backgrounds and fitness levels makes every class fun.
11 years in with this gym and they continue to keep things interesting. New coaches and new movements keep it from getting boring. As I age they are also good to assist in modifying the workouts to adjust my various aches and pains.
You will definitely get in shape by adhering to this program. There are a couple of things I wish were incorporated. A way to track your workouts digitally. In Prime you’re mostly on a 3 week routine before the workout is switched up. When the same exercise comes up, it would be nice to look up your previous weight used, how long it’s been since you did thie exercise, etc in order to see if you’ve improved any.
