These people are great to do business with. I brought in a flat tire off of my old Bridgestone XO-2 and someone dropped what they were doing, diagnosed the cause of the tube puncture, and made the repair all at a very reasonable price. While waiting, I was intrigued with the inventory of bikes in the showroom. Someone explained the pros and cons of different models without pressuring me in any way. I went home, did my research, and came to the same recommendation that they had made for me. The next day I purchased a new Trek Verve 2 and after about 10 miles and a few adjustments, I absolutely love it.

I received an immediate response to my online inquiry from Adam, who stopped by a couple days later to pick up my bike, explain all my options and pricing, and give his recommendations for the work needed for the tuneup. The work was quickly done within two days, and he dropped off my bike and explained what was done. The invoice listed all necessary details and the fee was reasonable. The bike is in perfect condition and I intend to follow up as needed. I can't recommend more highly the quality and personal service that Island Bicycles provided to me.

Island Bikes was very thorough and honest when inspecting my crashed bike. They did not try to sell me a bike that did not fit my particular needs. The techs are very knowledgable and communicate well.
