Island Bicycles is truly a treasure for Southport and Brunswick County. Adam, the owner and his staff are knowledgeable and professional in all things relating to bikes, trikes, and e-bikes. I, for one, am blessed to live close to such a trusted local bike shop.

I had a completely deflated tire, worn out inner tire tube, & had lost the valve cap. The bike was serviced quickly & the staff person patiently answered my questions about tire pressure, how to correctly put air in the tire, storage of bikes, transporting, etc. The waiting area was set up with refreshments which my grandson appreciated. I left very pleased & more educated about my bike. Highly recommend!

Bought a Trek Farley last fall from Island Bikes and it has been one of the best bikes ever. I ride it daily on the beach, snow and ice in the winter, and is just an amazing workout and fun bike. Took it in for my 6mo/1yr comp cable stretch and adjustment, had a couple minor loose items, and they knocked it out in a couple days, and what stood out was the 15 minute overview they gave me of everything they looked out and did. As a beach bike it has seen some minor rust develop on spoke nipples, but it sees daily sand and salt and just hit 800 miles. Got a couple recommendations for additional maintenance and lubrication and the staff was everything youd expect if you were delivering customer service to a friend or family. 5 stars, thanks Island Bikes and your team.

You carry Trek bikes and have ridden Treks for years. The personal help and insights from Andrew closed the deal. New building is very nice too

I walked in looking for a bike and left 15 minutes later with one! They were kind enough to add a Cousy, a cell phone holder and a basket to the front. Excellent customer service and a great group of guys! I highly recommend them!
