My PCP referred me to JOI and within 24 hours I received a call to schedule an appointment. I was able to choose a date and time (within the same week) that was most convenient for my schedule at the location I preferred.
There was absolutely no wait time from the time I checked in. The entire staff with whom I interacted was outstanding - pleasant, professional and focused on me.
And Dr. Brooks - I absolutely loved how he listened to me, asked questions, checked my range of mobility and discussed the findings of my x-rays in detail. From there we formulated a plan designed towards my choices based on the options provided. He was in full support of the route I chose. This was such a give-and-take partnership which I truly appreciate!
The front office staff is very soft-spoken and courteous. The physician's assistants are cheerful and ask the necessary questions. The doctor himself was very good and knowledgeable and patiently answered my queries. We got an appointment fairly soon, with a referral from my PCP.
Very friendly staff, generally no wait for appointments and Dr. Hastings is very personable, professional, and knows how to explain diagnosis where it is not intimidating and easy to understand.
I appreciate the friendly, efficient staff and I trust the expertise and experience of Dr. Young. I feel like Dr. Young provides a relaxed, personable atmosphere, giving me time to explain my symptoms and he does a physical exam and does appropriate testing, to get enough information to make a treatment plan.
Very prompt, courteous and efficient staff. Timely communication. The physician was very engaging, answering questions and providing on depth explanation of the issue and treatment options.
Dr Young took an appropriate amount of time with me. Answered any questions I had and got on to the next patient. I would highly recommend him from the little time we spent together. I can't really tell you much, I had a simple pulled hamstring injury so there isn't much to do but give it time to heal and keep lt moving as much as possible to stave off blood clots.
JOI is simply the best in town!
Previous shoulder surgery and negative PT experience ( not SEO), left me with poor results. The PT group at beach sees so many patients at one time that they missed I was not doing a critical exercise correctly. I ended up with limited mobility again in that shoulder.
Fast forward, I went to JOI and saw Dr.Basali. He was excellent and has been seeing me since. I didn’t require additional surgery but, he recommended JOI rehab.
Paul Freelin, shoulder, arm and hand specialist is hands down the best physical therapist I have ever seen. He is knowledgeable in multiple modalities and has been working with the old shoulder as well as new shoulder and forearm pain.
JOI is excellent! I am grateful to have such experts in our beaches. Thanks JOI, Dr.Basali and Paul !
