As a bike-dedicated, locally-owned business, Jake’s Bikes offers high-quality bikes and equipment (e.g., Trek), and a committed, highly-knowledgeable sales and service staff who are themselves biking afficianados. Added to that, Jake’s envelops their products and service with a philosophy that everything they do should reflect their tenacity to providing the highest quality. On a personal level, my family and friends have - happily, in all cases - bought numerous bikes from Jake’s, most recently a previously-owned bike for a granddaughter, which Jake himself stayed after hours on a weekend day just before a week-long charity ride to adjust, prepare, and deliver. I can’t recommend them highly enough! The Alexandria community is lucky to have Jake’s Bikes!

Well I had a long bike ride today and I was having trouble with my bike chain yesterday. I took my bike up to Jake’s and he was the only mechanic working. I told him what my concern was and within two hours I received a text that the problem was fixed. I picked it up and it rode great today.

Jake's shop is filled with quality products and knowledgeable people. They can explain, recommend, and install anything in the store. And, if they don't have it in the store, they can probably order it for you.
