I have been a member for over 30 years. I love the JCC, near my home, with all the activities and classes I want. In recent two or three years it has even offered more. I especially love zumba, pilates, and Tai Chi. The instructors are wonderful! And I have a trainer who is skilled and kind. So it's my place!
Things that I am happy with: State of the art gym, court, pool facilities
Modern looking entrance, friendly and helpful staff
Things can be improved: Cafeteria, food options, outdoor seating to have a cafe sense while waiting for kids activities or even spending some spare time
I use the gym (and personal training and Pilates in the past .) Everyone I have worked with has done all they can to help me get better and stronger. I have rehabbed from chemo, an ankle fracture, and now a shoulder fracture. I fell fortunate to have access to this facility but the staff is what makes it all work.
Parking getting to be a real problem - especially when camp is session. You should maybe hold some member etiquette clauses especially for younger members in the gym workout facility. On the whole, enjoyable, clean and well managed.l
My son goes to the ELC and it's the best thing ever! The whole spacacious area during the winter is very much appreciated and all the outdoors activities during the summer are awesome.
It is a terrific facility! It is a beautiful building with a feeling of warmth and community. The offerings are plentiful and diverse. I take advantage of some of the classes. Although there are all ages, I particularly appreciate the programs for seniors or people that are not as flexible as they were. It is inspiring to see people taking these classes and combating the aging process.
I have had some personal training in the fitness room which has been great. JIWEN has a wealth of knowledge in functional training and Luca helped introduce me to weight resistance training, which will work to my advantage as I age. Overall, I very much enjoy going to the JCC several times a week. And the people are so warm and friendly!
Facility gets nicer every year. Front desk, security, membership, weight room and most of all Daniel at the pool are all kind and professional. Seeing all the kids gives me optimism.
A pleasant place, where I exercise with Lauren Duke Yoga, and do weight training with Marianne. I like the fact that people of all denominations and ethnic backgrounds are members, too.
