Master Swim team - the best.
Great facility.
Thank you for bringing all your services to the Greater Boston Jewish community, this is too important to lose in any way. There are many choices for fitness but I will always prioritize the J.
The building needs a nice piano.

1. I like the friendly staff at the entrance.
2. I like how CLEAN the facilities are. I tend to notice this especially when I am in the locker room. The maintenance staff is continually cleaning and re-cleaning, mopping the floors, emptying the trash cans -- it's great.
3. All of the fitness staff (e.g., for Zumba, Pilates, Bar, and Yoga) are excellent.
4. As a Jew, I feel an extra connection to the J whenever you express holidays, such as offering Apples at Rosh Hashanah, decorating for Sukkot, etc. Even on days when I don't run into any of my girlfriends or Gym-rat buddies, the Jewish expression makes me feel like I am among friends,
We have been members for just over forty years now. When it first opened it was a great Jewish community center for our growing family. It continues to be a great place for our retirement selves and for our grandkids. How special is it that the JCC has aged along with us and still meets our needs.
Love the new lobby renovation. It's bright and cheerful and functional. Love the free coffee sitting area with the large window. Myself, I plan to use the sink to just refill my water bottle.
Also appreciate the security barriers out front being dressed up with flower planters--that was an excellent way to do it.
In general, I really appreciate the option to do classes in person and at home, and I think the variety of classes keeps getting better and better. Also, I am happy to see fitness classes starting to be offered in the afternoons, as that is often the time that works best for me. We just returned from being in Florida for 6 months and it was seamless to restart our membership.
Looking forward to the outdoor pool this summer! I just wish there were more outdoor swimming lanes to accommodate interest, or a way to sign up with the lifeguards. Unfortunately, some folks use a lane for 30 - 60 minutes. While I understand the desire to swim that long as it's such a great workout, I wish we had more lanes so we all could do that. (If the J wins the lottery, please build a second pool with only lap lanes.) Also, it would be great for the lifeguards to skim the corner of the pool with the swimming lane closest to the tennis courts several times a day, as that spot gets full of bugs and scum.
Best part of the J are the folks that work there--they're all wonderful and super helpful!
Thanks--hope this was helpful!
