Appreciative of all day camp, and the variety of swimming and games! For the specialty camp, my kids enjoyed it, but we thought it would go into a little more detail around cooking...food safety, nutrition, tips on preparing food, etc.
Counselors were caring and kind to my kids. Libby and Sam did a great job communicating with us. I loved the "what to expect" emails that came out to help us get everything ready for camp week.
On Friday of our first week, the kids did not get a chance to swim due to the swim meet at JV. I totally get it! But it would have been nice to be given a heads up that they would not be swimming that day and that there will be additional people in and out of the Y due to the meet.
All activities and child activities have varied times for each class and/or age group so it makes it better for working parents or for stay at home parents. Our kids love love love the child watch and have made many friends there, keep improving that in any way possible.
The yoga instructors, especially Bhakti and Julissa are excellent! Cardio room has many options. Weight room still a bit intimidating for an older woman.
