I appreciate the options for healthy activities at the Y. We’ve been members for over 20 years. My family has utilized all aspects of the Y from the wellness center, various group exercise classes, swim lessons, child watch, summer camp, and before and after school care. The Y employees are always kind and friendly.
The only concern I’ve had recently is the lack of modesty by members in the clothing (or lack of clothing) worn while working out. Lately I’ve seen men without shirts, females wearing sports bras without shirts, and shorts/leggings designed to be sexy and accentuate the butt. I wish the Y would enforce a dress code that promotes modesty. I think the “Christian” part of YMCA is too often forgotten by the members.
Always the people! Both employees and attendees!
It is a clean and safe place to get all the exercise that I need. The variety of classes is a real benefit for all ages!
I love going to Cindy class’s , she is and has become a friend, she hugs ea person and speaks to ea person, her personality is beyond just being an instructor. Her class is so fun and enjoyable. I like the walking track when hot or raining, can’t wait to see the construction to finish. The facility is very clean and personal very professional.
Employees were really nice and helpful. That means a lot when you are new to a facility. I used the equipment in the gym and I adore your walking track. I look forward to exploring other programs that you offer.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The restrooms are clean and well maintained.
Towels to clean equipment after use are always available and I think a sanitary reminder to members. I’m grateful for the additional support I receive from Joanna, as a trainer she is knowledgeable and easy to work with.
