José did a phenomenal job coloring, trimming, laying, and styling my hair. He gave me exactly what I wanted and I enjoyed talking with him. I am bummed that he is moving but glad that I found his salon so I may go there for my hair appointments.

Jose is an excellent hair stylist. He is welcoming and professional. He listens to your hair concerns. He always gives a great cut and knows how to work with of my naturally curly hair. Not all stylists know how to do that. I appreciate his suggestions about how to work with my hair. And, it’s wonderful to receive compliments from total strangers thanks to his expertise.

From setting up my appointment online, to texting with Jose about my hair history and wishes, and then to having Jose and Georgianna working on my hair in tandem.. The whole experience made me feel important and pampered. My hair looks so pretty, just like the pictures I sent Jose! I don’t have to recommend them, people ask me where I had my hair done because they want my hair! Lol Thank you so much!!

I was randomly looking for a new hair stylist and ran across Jose Manual Salon Spa. Since the salon uses Aveda and it is close to work, I decided to book an appointment. I have been trying to find a stylist I really like since moving to the Tacoma area two and a half years ago. I was immediately comfortable with Jose and was very excited for the outcome of my haircut. I was not disappointed! Jose took the time to talk with me about my hair, what I liked and what I didn't like. Then gave suggestions on what he thought and explained the "why" of needing to shorten my hair some. He also went over styling products and how to use them properly. Jose did not rush through my haircut, and I felt like he truly cared for me as his client. The end result was awesome! I look forward to my next appointment and would highly recommend Jose. Danette Rogers.

Maria was so thorough and every aspect was a great experience. She asked a lot of questions from what cut and color I was thinking of to what my morning routine was like to give the best hair that would work for me. She understood my skin u Derrick e and pick the right blond for me. She was super attentive to detail, and I felt I was in good hands and and put my full trust in her for the outcome of my hair. I love my hair and will definitely be returning ❤️.

Maria was attentive and offered practical advice on what I wanted for my haircut. She was gentle and explained what she was doing at each step. Used Aveda products which not only smelled great but high quality products. Would recommend.
