Yoli and Clint make their classes fun with enthusiasm, patience, professionalism, and humor. Diverse abilities and skills levels are catered to, and they make all new comers feel welcome, , as well. Their example of caring and leadership engender the same qualities in all class participants who become everyone’s cheering section!! Things are different in the summer, but your program serves our keiki well, and it is advantageous to have exposure to the young in our senior years. I had not really been in touch with the Y since my now 50 and 45 year-old sons had swimming lessons there. I have been so thoroughly impressed with the options and care given to Kupuna, both inside of class and also as a warm friendly place to gather and socialize with each other. I have recommended the Kaimuki-Waialae YMCA to all my friends, and appreciate the friendliness of all your staff!
Clift leads tai chi with careful attention to each of us, and keeps us up to date on current research on how tai chi helps with fall prevention. He is a skilled tai chi instructor who encourages us to practice and improve. My balance is definitely better than when I started tai chi.
Caroline is skilled at connecting with each of us. She may even know each members first name, and greets us personally each day with a smile.
Love all the different instructors and what they bring into their classes. They are all very diverse in their teaching and in their format. It makes it a much more interesting experience. I enjoy a couple days of cardio and the Zumba dance classes are always fun.

Trainers Anthony and Brian are great. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Although this facility has become quite crowded recently even on Saturdays which used to be not crowded at all. But when a facility becomes popular that's to be expected.
There is a good selection of exercise classes for seniors, including Silver & Fit for general conditioning and Tai Chi for fall prevention. It’s also nice having a pool available for lap swim, although space is limited. The location is convenient.
