My child's classroom she is in right now "penguins" had been absolutely wonderful. Ms. Renée is really through about what she works on with each individual child and communication with her about consistent improvement is fantastic. My child thrives off of consistency and patience and she has both.
My daughter went here for 3 years. I think the staff do a good job. I like the extra things they offer like professional photos and soccer shots. My daughter loved soccer shots. I appreciate that the staff make an effort to be creative and do extra things to entertain the kids like bike day and water day. My daughter really liked Ms. Renee she puts a lot of thought and effort into her day to day activities with the kids. They also do a good job of providing educational childcare. My daughter could count, identify all the letters of the alphabet, identify colors, shapes, she learned weather, days of the week, and months of the year. I’m a first time mom. I didn’t know a three year old could already know so much. We had a positive experience going to this daycare.
We love Kiddie Academy. My twins started when they were 6 months old and haven't once cried when we have dropped them off. They are always all smiles - especially when their main teacher is there. They always have them doing fun activities. I particularly love that they share pictures throughout the day.
We have enjoyed the updates on some of the activities that are happening in the classroom. In particular how learning opportunities are incorporated within imaginary play. For instance, creating a store and learning about money. Our daughter seems to have learned a lot in the last couple of years. However, most importantly she seems happy and seems to genuinely know and like the teachers and support staff.
The biggest factor for us is that our daughter is happy to go to daycare and seems to be learning and thriving. It seems like she knows everyone in the building and will give teachers or aids a hug when she sees them. No matter how good a program looks on paper, you don’t really know how effective it is until you see how your child responds to it.
I also do appreciate that there is a structured curriculum for teachers to follow and a wide range of subjects are introduced. I also find the academy reasonable and accommodating. For instance, we’ve had no issues managing our daughters developmental therapy- on site, or even occasional late drop offs or early pick ups due to a doctors appointment etc.
The personal approach. The entire staff knows my daughter, and they seem very invested in her care. I always get updates and the entire staff has great communication. My daughter loves her teachers and is so happy to go to school each day.
