I have been consistently impressed by the staff members at the school. The teachers and staff in the class room have always been very attentive to my daughter and responsive to our concerns. We have also been very impressed by Ms. Ginese who welcomes every child and parent by name each morning. All of it makes for a very warm environment for our daughter and make us as parents feel secure our child is secure.

As a first-time mom and I had a plethora of worries and concerns as a selected a daycare facility to entrust with the care of “my whole world” aka my little one. I toured quite a few facilities and after much debate and discussion our family decided on Kiddie Academy in Cedar Knolls. Director Christina’s personality, open and honest communication and her commitment to the school had a major influence on our decision. I am a very engaged and proactive mom, so after enrolling my little one into Kiddie Academy I visited the school often and watched the live classroom feeds. I spent time observing my child in the classroom, and I personally interacted with the administration and teachers to get a full grasp of what her days would be like in this new place. Through my observations, I identified a few areas of concern. Since Director Christina has an open-door policy, I asked to speak with her regarding the same. I explained all my concerns and she took the time to LISTEN. She listened intently and actively. She didn’t rush me, nor did she make me feel like my child was just a face in a crowd of many. She offered explanations and allayed my concerns. The areas that needed to be addressed, she promised to address. Following the meeting, as I continued to take my little one to Kiddie Academy, I noticed a positive change in the areas that we discussed. As a parent, especially a first-time mom, the small things matter most to us. Director Christina is great with children but also great with us parents too, she really knows how to allay our fears and is an outstanding advocate for the Kiddie Academy. She believes in the place and wants to make it the best that it can be for families and children. Additionally, the staff at Kiddie Academy are top notch. I feel like they truly care about my little one. Ms. Desirae always finds new and exciting ways to engage my little one and stimulate her interests. At the end of the day Ms. Desirae takes the time to pack my little one’s belongings in the afternoon to ensure that she hasn’t left anything behind. Even beyond the classroom, if my little one has been out sick for a few days, Ms. Desirae has called to check in on her and wish her well. Actions such as these may seem unremarkable to some but to me and my family it means the world. We are incredibly happy with our decision to entrust Director Christina and her staff with the continued care of our little one.
