My wife and I are big fans of Kiddie Academy in Columbia. It all starts with the kids. Every day I drop off and pick up my son, children are happy and playing. The atmosphere here is conducive to learning and fun. We feel that our son is safe and that he is loving his time there. He is happy to see teachers after a long weekend, he comes home and shows us how sharp he is becoming. Also, the front office is responsive and great. Totally worth a stop by for a chit chat every now and then. They love every kid that comes through those doors.

Our son has already vastly expanded his vocabulary and social skills since starting at the academy several months ago. We love everyone that works there and can trust our son is in excellent hands when we drop him off for the day.

The front office staff is wonderful and very organized. For the most part all of the teachers have been great. Sometimes it seems like the extracurriculars or summer activities are canceled last minute which would be my only complaint.

I am beyond grateful that one of my friends recommended Kiddie Academy. My daughter and I have loved being apart of this community. Within the first month of attending over a year ago my daughter's confidence in gross motor skills improved as she was able to conquer potty training and has embraced other developmental milestones due to the encouragement and compassion from her teachers and all the direct staff that work here. I would recommended Kiddie Academy to all families I know in need of childcare.

I couldn’t be happier with our experience at Kiddie academy of Columbia. Our 5-year-old has absolutely flourished since starting here. The teachers are kind, patient, and truly understand how to work with young children. The curriculum is a perfect mix of play-based learning and early academics, and our child is always excited to go to school and tell us what they learned each day. We’ve seen our child grow not just in reading and math, but also in confidence, communication, and independence. The staff is responsive and caring, and they keep us informed every step of the way. It’s clear they really care about each child’s success and happiness. We’re so grateful to have found such a nurturing and enriching environment for our little one.

We trust the staff in the building with our young children. It is clean, everyone is well-trained and friendly. The children learn so much - social skills, emotional regulation strategies, and age-appropriate content. We are very happy here.

The teachers and staff care about my kids and in turn my kids are excited to go every day. I appreciate the enrichment classes and the chance for them to learn about other cultures/holidays. They also seem to be learning above the level that is taught at other schools. One area I wish was better was just communication between the office and the classroom. For example when my child is out sick and I email the office, the teachers don’t ever seem to get notified which I think is a misstep. Overall I’m very happy and would (have) recommend KAC to other families.

The program is very well designed, the teachers are very capable, transition when teachers leave is very smooth thanks to a solid foundation. The director and managers are involved, proactive and knowledgeable. I highly recommend KA!

Our daughter joined the 3’s classroom this fall after never have been in any other child care setting. She had a separation anxiety at first and difficulty adjusting to a new environment outside of home. All the teachers were so caring, patient and welcoming to our daughter. They always take the time to make her feel comfortable and work within her comfort level. She is now happy to be at the preschool and we have seen a tremendous growth in her since she joined. The admin team has also been wonderful to work with. They are professional, friendly and helpful with any questions. It is also nice to walk in every day to the school and be greeted and welcomed by everyone. We love receiving the daily activity Tadpoles update through out the day. As parents we are grateful to have found a place where we know our daughter is happy and safe!!

I like the high level of communication and responsiveness from teachers/directors. I appreciate that my children are learning at a bit above grade level and that the content is diverse. The afternoon enrichment activities are a nice bonus that my kids really enjoy. They seem happy and well adjusted when they are at the school which speaks to the quality of care they get when I’m not there.
