Our family has had such a great experience at Kiddie Academy of Elkhorn! The staff are kind, welcoming, and genuinely dedicated to creating a positive learning environment for every child. Their flexibility/hours of availability are great given that my husband and I both work in-office. We've experienced every classroom level at the academy, and it has been wonderful to watch our boys learn, grow, and thrive through each stage. The teachers do a great job communicating and truly care about each child's development, which gives us confidence and peace of mind every day. We highly recommend the Kiddie Academy to families looking for a nurturing, engaging, and supportive daycare environment!

We have loved the time our kids have been at KA. Everyone is invested in all the children and knows the families so well. The teachers in the rooms are very focused on the growth of the kids, actually teaching them constantly, not just “watching” them all day. It’s so fun hearing our kids come home with new things they learn or fun stories about the activities from the day. We truly appreciate the love and energy they all put into the growth of our young children

I love the developmentally appropriate learning. I love that when the teachers teach kids about a sport or culture, they read a story and expose them to a part of what they learning about. My 4 year old had some basic academic skills, but has truly flourished with her handwriting. My 2 year old has made growth with his numbers and colors and is applying it to his everyday life. I really appreciate that my kids are able to play and learn to interact with their peers as well.

We are still a new family, but overall, think the kids are enjoying it. The communication with us has been pretty good, especially with Mr. Mickey and the lady in Pioneers in the morning (I feel terrible I don't know her name). One thing I wish we would have received information on is I subscribe to the DHHS notifications for health care providers, child service providers, etc. and noticed that Kiddie Academy was on the most recent report for supervision of children. I am not sure what that specifically means, and it probably isn't madatory to disclose things like that to the families, but I like the idea of transparency in sharing what occurred and how it is going to be remedied. That said, I feel our children are safe and happy there. The range of activities, lesson plans, etc. has been great.

My child enrolled in the summer program and it has been the BEST experience. We are new to the region so it was hard to pick and choose between solid programs and we are so grateful we decided to go with kiddie academy. Our sons teacher is such a blessing and all of the staff we’ve encountered have been amazing as well.

My two year old can count to 20 before skipping numbers, can identify alphabet letters, and is working on all necessary social skills to help her become more of an amazing little learner. I know she is in excellent hands, and her teachers show so much patience with her on a daily basis no matter how many big feelings she has.
