As my son prepares to start kindergarten, I feel such a mixture of sadness and gratitude as we say goodbye to Kiddie Academy of Urbana. This was never just an academy to us. It truly became a second home.
I have watched my son make tremendous academic progress here, but what means even more to me is the growth I have seen in his personality, confidence, and independence. During a time when I was facing serious health challenges, I sometimes worried about how everything happening in our lives might affect him. His teachers were incredibly patient, loving, encouraging, and supportive. Knowing that he was surrounded by people who genuinely cared for him gave me a sense of comfort that words cannot fully express.
I am deeply grateful to the teachers, staff, leadership, and the entire Kiddie Academy of Urbana community for the love they have shown my son and our family. Leaving is bittersweet, but we are taking so many wonderful memories with us.
Words cannot fully explain how appreciative I am. Thank you for being part of our village and for helping prepare my little boy for his next chapter. ❤️

I love how every staff member teaches with a smile and really caters to the child’s needs but also the parents voice for their child. I really appreciate how the Director and the management team have supported our family when we have had to bring up my son’s health issues. They are quick to respond and help me feel reassured that he is in good hands. The educational activities have really helped my children expand their knowledge and that’s another reason why we came here! It’s been great!.

My child attended from age 5 through 12, through the school age program, when it was offered, and then through our CampVentures. We’ve truly loved the experience. The play-based learning helped build confidence, independence, and a real love for learning. The teachers, as well as the admin team, as a whole took the time to become knowledgeable in our daughters health condition to be aware of certain things pertaining to her. As a staff member and parent, it put my mind at ease. The care provided to the children has always been exceptional, and I always felt reassured knowing my child was in a safe, supportive environment. CampVentures added such a fun and enriching experience during the summer months, keeping learning active and engaging. The teachers are amazing, nurturing, patient, and truly invested in each child’s growth. The admin. team is equally amazing, always welcoming and helpful. It’s been a place where my child was not only educated, but also cared for and encouraged every step of the way, no matter her age. My daughter loves Kiddie Academy. To this day will attend events wearing her Kiddie Academy shirt. It truly has become family!

Kiddie Academy has an exceptional team of educators and staff who are genuinely invested in each child's growth, development, and well-being. The teachers and staff are warm, welcoming, and consistently maintain a positive and supportive environment. Another significant benefit is that meals are provided throughout the day, which adds convenience for families and further enhances the overall quality of care and educational services offered.

Great preparation for Kindergarten! I love that they are practicing things like walking through the lunch line, or learning our phone number. Plus her teachers are so loving and you can tell really care about these kids. She loves her school so much and I have no doubts that she is well prepared for kindergarten.

One of the best day cares, if not the best daycare in Urbana, MD. The curriculum / program they follow for all age groups is of high standard. The numerous updates, pictures, activities you receive throughout the day via email will inform you of what exactly the kids did that day. Such updates will help you when you talk to your kids about how their day was and what they did at the day care. The classroom cameras are also useful especially for new parents. After a while, you don’t even login to view the cameras since you know the kids are in great hands. They also have great teachers which is important where teachers go a long way especially when kids are this young where the teachers will leave an everlasting impression on the kids; long after they are done with daycare. Overall, it was a great experience with both my kids at Kiddie Academy, Urbana.

We are very happy with where things are at Kiddie Academy right now. It has been wonderful to see the addition of karate, soccer, and the upcoming summer activities. Thank you for taking our feedback seriously and for adjusting the food offerings for the children. We truly appreciate the care and attention you put into making these thoughtful improvements.
