We have been exceedingly happy with Kinderhouse. Our children have been nurtured, educated and taught daily life skills, and we, as parents have felt that they are safety and education have been a priority.
Miss pop, along with the teachers we’ve experienced have been so receptive to our questions, concerns, and giving us feedback so that we can provide the best tools for our children. They have prioritized our children’s needs while also understanding our needs as parents and helping us problem solve and come up with solutions both at home and at school.
We are so grateful for their guidance, education, and nurturing of our children!
I wish the school provided daily updates on how children are doing and more photos in general. But otherwise, we love the teachers and the care they show.
The teachers are very caring, and the staff is friendly. I really appreciate all the indoor activities they offer for the kids. My son especially enjoys the reading sessions and taking care of the plants.
Teachers are amazing
However there has to be something done about the evening playground hours
Even when its temperatures are soaring, the kids are still taken out in the playground which is not shaded.
The days the temperatures are high staff should come up with an alternate plan and keep the kids indoors.
Same applies for the days it’s been drizzling.
Our son enjoys being at school, and we've witnessed his progress in the few months he's attended. I love that everyone--staff and students--know his name and engage with my often shy kiddo. He talks warmly about his teachers and new friends, role plays being a teacher at home, models other activities like pouring water, cleaning up messes and singing new songs. He seems to be blossoming and so far, we're quite pleased!
It's really good practice of Montessori education and all the teachers and staff are extremely professional and caring and loving. My son grew and developed a lot there.
The teachers' patience is impressive, especially when handling separation anxiety. They actively foster independence by encouraging students to tackle tasks themselves and embrace their individuality.
Things I like - Curriculum / Discipline / self awareness / healthy life style choices.
One thing that may help is to get more frequent updates on the child's learning track.
