The Kirk YMCA has so many opportunities to be involved in! Besides working out in the center, feeding underprivileged communities, healthy kids day, and unique group exercise classes are just a few ways to build long lasting connections through the YMCA.
I like how friendly the staff is, always welcoming and friendly. I was at Prairie Village Paul Henson, and heartbroken when it closed. It was 2 miles from my house. Now I'm driving about 8 miles, but I like Kirk and NKC much better than Cleaver. Cleaver does not have a whirlpool, dry or wet sauna. I think the Y needs to consider upgrading locations such as Cleaver to have the same ammenities.
It’s a beautiful facility in a great location. The strength and cardio machines we use are kept in good working order. The pool’s 4 lap lanes are never too busy —we don’t have to wait long or at all to get a turn in the water.
The staff are friendly and welcoming, and they reach out to give us tips on things like the parking lot exits.
We are grateful members of the YMCA—especially the Kirk Family YMCA.
Please install the big pace clock for the lap lanes. We need it to help us prepare for a National swim meet in August.
Thanks,
Lucy Manheim
