He really helps you understand the process and understands what you want in a house, and does not push for more, or try to convince me out of it. Just patiently waits until something shows up. Kirk has set the expectation for what a realtor should be. I met Kirk 3 years ago when my family and I moved to Ann Arbor from WI, and Kirk helped us find a condo to rent. At the time we weren't ready to buy but knew when it was time, Kirk was who we wanted as our realtor. Fast forward to Spring of 2023, Kirk took on the mission of helping us find a home to purchase. We quickly discovered a new build home was the way we wanted to go, Kirk went through the entire process with us. And even after the contract was signed with the builder, Kirk showed up to every meeting with the builder, from selections, to site plans, the pre-drywall walkthrough and the final walkthrough. I'm sure many realtors wouldn't show up the way Kirk did for these meetings. Unfortunately, once the new build home was complete the amazing inspection company Kirk recommended found some issues with the home that the builder was unwilling to fix to our satisfaction and we ended up walking away with our deposit shortly before 4th of July. Kirk was such an advocate for us as we navigated this extremely tough situation with the builder. Without Kirk recommending we hire an inspector, we likely would've made a very big mistake buying that home. So here Kirk was out 4th of July weekend showing us home after home. After looking at multiple homes in the last month I'm happy to say we've closed on our house with the help of Kirk who continues to go above and beyond as a realtor. We hope Kirk has no plans of retirement anytime soon because he is the only realtor we will be wanting to do business with in the future for our next property.
