I'm 8 months pregnant with my second child and was in serious need of some abdominal and lower back pain relief. Tasha gave me a great prenatal massage using a pregnancy body mold so that I could lay on my stomach for the first time in forever. The mold did take some getting used to but in the end, I preferred it over a regular body pillow, which is what I was given during my first pregnancy's prenatal massage. This massage was much better than the one I had during my first pregnancy, which was at a competitor. Tasha didn't talk unless she was making sure pressure was good, which was different from my first massage too. I enjoy conversation but the lack of it with Tasha added to the enjoyment of the massage. My husband, who had a massage at the same time I did during my first pregnancy, was in the bed next to me this time and agreed that this massage was better than the one during my first pregnancy. Getting a massage next to my husband made the experience more enjoyable too. If you can schedule a couples massage where you're both in the same room, I recommend it. Whenever I need more stress relief, I'll be coming back to La Vida Massage.
Very difficult calling an appointment in, because most often the phone would ring but no one would answer. The massage and facial techs were good, but the service as a whole was of putting. It wasn't enjoyable.
Bryan was very personable. I had never had a massage before, so I was a little nervous. He made me incredibly comfortable (both physically and mentally)! He was a great conversationalist, and an even better masseur. I will definitely be coming back. I plan to get a membership.
The front desk associate could not make change for me so I had to leave a much bigger tip for my massage [LAST NAME REMOVED] than I wanted. I either had to leave a $20 bill (which was more than I wanted to leave), or $0. I left $20. This shouldn't happen. The [LAST NAME REMOVED] was also a bit rough.
