But some of your new policies are really unacceptable. I pay every month but after you reach 12 stores up sessions you LOSE the sessions! Why!? I paid for them! Why in the world would I not be able to use them? I just went and got a facial. The aesthetician suggested an additional 30 minute back facial and I said yes. When I went to check out I was told that an entire session would be used for the 30 minutes instead of half a session. Again- I’ve paid for the full session. I could use that extra half hour for a 90
Minute massage next time. I think the business model is more focused on getting my money than service which is sad because I have been a client since you opened. I’m going to use my sessions and then close my account. Sometimes I can’t cone in regularly due to work. Weekends are very hard to get in so I’ve had sessions build up. If I’ve paid for them
I should be able to accumulate as many sessions as I pay for. It’s sad.
Six inches of snow fell between Saturday and continued to snow throughout the day on Sunday. I had an appointment that Sunday at 2:45. Due to the weather I did not leave my house. Most businesses were closed Sunday in the Ashburn area. I called on Monday evening and spoke with Monica. I asked her if they called any clients with scheduled appointments to let them know that they were open, her response was we don’t do that here. My card was charged for an appointment I couldn’t get to due to the weather. I am canceling my membership that I haven’t used because of this. I was looking forward to coming on a regular basis due to me battling with Multiple Sclerosis. I hope in the future for good customer service, communicate with your customers when there is inclimate weather.
I had a very disappointing massage earlier this month. The therapist seemed to be in a rush and as a new client I wanted a consultation to customize the exact massage I wanted. She didn't listen to my requests. The pressure was so extreme and inconsistent. I was sore for multiple days after the massage. The techniques she was using were unusual and unlike anything I have had in the past. The massage was not relaxing and frankly not enjoyable. I hope this was just an inexperienced therapist, and not a reflection of your entire spa.
I've been going to LaVida for years, so I have a great and long-standing relationship with my massage therapist. I like being able to have regular appointments and to schedule online. I do wish I could schedule further in advance though.
not enough staff in front office, only one person to assist 3 people waiting, arrived with time to fill out the forms but instead was made late to my appointment plus just handed the clip board to fill out a specific part. I had hoped for a 90 min and when they asked him if he'd be ok with 90 min, he said, no 60, just seemed a bit unwelcoming to a possible new client.
the massage was good, however the first impression of the location wasn't impressive.
Melissa is INCREDIBLE. I have been with her for a couple of years now and I do not trust anyone else to do my waxing. She is so personable, friendly, and great at what she does. I've already referred I believe 7 people to her! I will definitely continue to send people to LaVida to use Melissa as a waxer because she is one-of-a-kind!
