The warmth and kindness of my therapist, Courtney. She remembers every time exactly what I like and truly respects my need for this quiet, "down" time. As a full time caregiver to someone with both dementia and physical concerns, this once a month massage has been a godsend.
I enjoyed the massage and the special touch of having water offered afterwards. Everyone was very professional and cordial. I liked the hot towel part and that the massage wasn't rough. My back feels better too.
Booking was challenging, called four times because I had a question about my gift card (which was frustrating in itself), call was never answered so I booked online and got call back that my booking was in twice, so couldn't confirm appointment. Appointment was finally confirmed but unfortunately, my massage therapist did not warm the muscles before trying deep tissue massage, as a result I am bruised all over today. Lack of training to understand that first contact should not be "deep tissue" performed with a sheet touching my skin, providing irritation from the rubbing of the sheet but also pain from irritating muscles since there was no contact prior to "deep tissue". My massage therapist was kind, but serious lack of training. Feel free to call me to discuss further.
Tip guidelines ($20 for 50 minutes massage, which costs $60 for everybody participating in their program / subscription) are really unreasonable, makes me wonder if therapists are being paid enough.
I am considering dropping my subscription because of this.
