I am sorry, but I was not really happy with the massage. I feel I was slightly pressured to give a tip, so I gave $30, the smallest amount on the flyer that was put in front of me, and that was only because I respect the time of the therapist. I do not feel like the 90 minutes was worth the cost.

The facility is very clean and the atmosphere is calming. You are greeted upon arrival and made to feel comfortable and at ease. Appointments are always on time. The massage therapist always asks if there are areas of concern and will pay special attention to them. My body feels so much better since I started receiving regular treatments. I stopped for a couple of months and I could tell the difference. I highly recommend Canton Lavida.

I was looking forward to a deep tissue massage. I was told by Stephanie that Morgan was the only avl therapist on Friday afternoon. I arrived 15 mins early and I met Morgan. I do not know if it was because it was late afternoon on a Friday, but Morgan was not very customer friendly. As we went back to the massage room, I told her where my back pain was and wanted her to concentrate in that area most on my 90 min massage. Morgan said OK but never asked me how much pressure I want when massaging me. I asked her what kind of massage therapist she specializes in, and she said in stress and something else but not deep tissue. I guess that is my fault for not asking this question before booking my appointment, but my back was hurting and wanted to see if a massage would relieve the pain. Overall, all Morgan did was rub my back, did not focus on my pain spots that I specifically mentioned. In addition, this location is next to the dominos pizzeria which you could hear the rolling carts and phone ringing which did not provide a relaxing environment at all. The lotion that Moran used was cold, in other massage places, they had warmers for the lotion, so you do not jump when the lotion hits you. These might be small things to complain about, but it did not my make experience pleasant.

I have loved coming to the Hickory Flat location from the first visit. The ladies who greet us up front are so precious to me. Their positive energy always brings me down a few levels from the stress of the world outside those doors. Thank you for always being so kind.
They reached out to me yesterday morning about an opening for a facial. I had a nice amount of credits available on my account. I jumped in my car and headed straight there. That was such a relaxing experience and my face feels amazing!
