I come a couple of times a year for massage and a facial and I have to say this time I was extremely disappointed and actually makes me question going back. I have an appointment on Saturday because I have another gift card. I had a full body massage that only one for 50 minutes not 60 minutes and I also got charged an additional $10 because I guess you just raise your prices and no one told me that I got the gift card in March and when I went to use it now in May, it was an additional fee which I was disappointed in as well. So not only did I have to pay more money. I actually didn’t get the full time of my service I was supposed to get and actually every time I go they end earlier they never do the full 60 minutes and that makes me not want to come back.
The place was very nice but the sheets were stained on the massage bed ( white sheets with brown stains), there was a loud air unit overpowering the relaxing music that was playing. I arrived 15 minutes early and after paperwork was completed I was redirected to the inside waiting room where another customer asked my name because my therapist already came to look for me. The massage ended earlier ( I understand time for dressing and undressing but still earlier than expected) I even arrived at the same time as a woman running “late for her appointment” yet we finished at the same time.
I was disappointed because this location is so much more convenient than other spas I go to for massages but I am unsure if I will be back for another try. The dirty sheets were an immediate turn off.
I just think the 90 minute massage the time could have been distributed evenly not so much time on back and shoulders also could have focused on legs and arms as well
My massage was suppose to be 1 hour starting at 11:00 am, I arrived at 10:50. I understand the dressing time is included however, I was called to wait in the “relaxation room” aka the 2nd waiting room for at a minimum of 10 minutes after having already waiting up in the front lobby til after 11:05 then after entering the massage room I waited another 10 minute minimum before the massage began and was still “somehow” promptly done with the massage and at the checkout counter at 11:59. I was not able to know the exact amount of time since the clock in the room is wrong (on purpose to not allow people to see actually how much time the massage was for) but I strongly believe it was no more than 30-35 minutes, at the rate you charge that is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!
Grateful for Jen Pastore for recommending services, packages and treatments! Now my husband has made us members! Grau for her reminding me to do self care.
