I told my masseuse about one trouble area and he focused on it for the whole session without touching anywhere else. That would be understandable, but he focused on the opposite side of my body. The part of me that really hurts hasn’t seen a hair of improvement.

All in all a nice massage. It might be helpful to ask patients on their intake form whether they prefer much talking or not. As someone who doesn't get massages often and is something of a people pleaser, a felt a little like I was rude if I didn't try to keep some conversation going, though I would've preferred less chitchat. Not that this was my masseuse's fault, just something that might help people like me feel comfortable to get exactly what they want out of the massage.
I also feel like I didn't quite get the value to of the whole time I paid for. We started after my the start time of 2:45, which I was not bothered about since it took a little time to use the bathroom and get undressed, but I thought we would still go all the way until 3:45. For some reason the massage ended at 3:36. There was a person waiting in the lobby when I came out so I feel my time was cut short for the next person's appointment. I feel this was a bit unfair since I had already been accommodating by moving my appointment earlier last minute at LaVita's request.

I showed up a few minutes early for my 515 appt. I was rushed thru my paperwork by my masseuse and then chastised for not circling the correct body parts. He made the comment on the way back and said he was “worried about the time”. He ended exactly at 6pm, and as I explained to the receptionist I think he thought my appt started at 5. As far as the massage it was not relaxing. He mentioned “throwing in some stones” but never mentioned the cost. He was able to get some of my knots out but had me in weird stretching positions and if I didn’t move into them easily, bc I didn’t understand, also made comments. He repeatedly talked about me coming back to see him and what a great massage he gives. It was just a really uncomfortable appointment.

As a first time customer was greeted courteously and professionally. The prices were very reasonable for the time/type of massage. As a person with allergies I would recommend cutting back on the amount of diffuser oils as it was very strong. The condition of the facility was in good condition. The massage therapist (Major) was very friendly, helpful, and thorough. I would recommend their services to anyone.
