After the horrible experience, it took several calls to cancel the membership, and even after it was cancelled I found that my account had been charged $80. I regret ever experiencing this company.

I love La vida massage. The past few times I have had Kicha as my massage therapist at the Troy location. Kicha is so sweet and does an amazing job. She always makes note of what I need worked on as well as makes sure to stay away from areas that are sensitive . She went the extra mile when I came in the other day to put on an. ice pack on my knee (that had a recent injury) while massaging other areas of my lower body. I really appreciated that. I came in feeling exhausted, overwhelmed and tired but because of Kicha, I came out of the massage feeling relaxed, calm and rejuvenated. I will always come back for a massage and look forward to having one with Kicha!!

I specifically went to LAVIDA Troy to use my LAVIDA gift cards after another location changed from LAVIDA to another brand. LAVIDA gift cards were not able to be recognized due to issues beyond Troy's control. I get that and do not blame Troy. However, the turmoil with other LAVIDA locations changing to another brand left my LAVIDA membership in limbo. Troy location would not recognize prior LAVIDA membership and charged me a higher rate without honoring the $79 LAVIDA member or 1st time visit rate. I paid the higher non-member rate. The massage was great, but still very disappointed that LAVIDA Troy did not do what was necessary to win me over as a permanent client as I try to figure out what happened to the amounts previously available on my gift cards and search for a new location.

I really love working with Jennifer and her personal approach to my massages. She is very kind and understanding and checks in with me frequently - which I greatly appreciate. I always find the women working at the front desk to be very friendly. I also enjoy how easy it is to schedule appointments and move them if needed. My only very minor complaint is that sometimes it can be noisy - especially if my massage is near the front of the building near the front desk. Perhaps noise machines could be placed in the hall or room to quiet the high traffic areas? Overall, I love LaVida and the staff and I frequently recommend this location to friends, coworkers, and family members.

I was hoping for a mix of trigger point and swedish message. Jennifer is one of the best massage therapists I've ever had and I have been getting massages with some regularity for over a decade. The monthly subscription allows me to stay on a better schedule and save some money. It's amazing. Additionally, your facilities are clean and pleasant to the eye and everyone on the staff is so thoughtful and friendly. Ideal for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
