Physical exercise has become extremely important to me as I age. I am in better condition now than I was in my fifties after sitting in front of a computer for too long! I am now aging well and am 71 years of age.
I attend the Silver Sneakers classes; strength training and chair yoga regularly and have made many new friends over the past 2-3 years.
I have also had the opportunity to volunteer at events and obtain donations for new lobby furniture and to get the chairs cleaned by kind proprietors in our community.
I work directly for the senior community as a senior family advisor now. After trying to "retire" I find it very beneficial to my physical and mental well being.

I find everyone at the Y friendly and helpful. David, who is a volunteer and teaches Group Power four days a week, makes the classes fun and interesting. When he was out for health reasons, Kelly and Sean stepped up to keep us healthy and in shape.
The front office staff always greet me with a smile and a friendly hello.
When I ask a question and they don't have an answer, they take the time to find out.
We've been members since '89 and know that our family's needs have always been met.
