It was my first time at Liberty and it was a very positive experience. I needed an updated bike fitting and the fitting was very comprehensive, and I am settling into the newer feel and hopefully a few less aches and pains. I was also impressed with the knowledge of their service area and even though the shop is a longer ride for me I am more comfortable with Liberty's level of sservice and overall knowledge.
Matt and Coleman were both super knowledgeable and helpful. The bike setup by Coleman was really detailed. He took his time and patiently answered all my questions. His expertise resulted in the best bike “fit” I’ve ever had.
A great Bike Shop to work with. Had all of my (excessive) questions answered with great patience. Was given two opportunities to test the in stock bike I was interested in. All staff was friendly and attentive. Sam worked hard to make sure the fit was spot on.
I don’t usually shop here because it’s on the other side of town. My experience with the staff on the phone and in person has been excellent. I will go out of my way to give them business. Thanks for all your help.
I had a road bike fitting. It was the best I have ever had. My cockpit was adjusted with a new stem and handlebars. I am extremely happy with the results. The store employees were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and attentive. Everything was done in a very timely manner.
I actually was referred to Liberty Bike from another bike supply store in Fariview NC. The person I have been connect to and am so grateful for is Zach.He knows he bikes and values the enjoyment of biking personally and shares this with others in providing excellent service to get them on their bikes to enjoy the sport. This is in all ages.I have taken in my grandson and Zach has completely made a new friend with him. Zach is very talented and honest. I have referred Liberty Bike shop out to many and will continue to. Especially to meet and be supported by Zach
Everyone at Liberty is friendly and professional. No over-the-top sales efforts, but good information on excellent products.
The one issue I have had involved my 2025 Domane+ bike. After several months of riding, the seat stem was making a hideous squeaking sound. I brought it in for inspection and was told the noise actually was not the seat post, but rather the OEM seat. For $100+ I got a new seat - which was comfortable, and did quiet the squeak down somewhat. Then with the 2026 riding season, I noticed the seat post would drop down about one inch with every ride. A trip to Liberty attempted to fix the issue with the use of Fiber Grip, but that did not work. At my wits end, I discussed the issue with Coleman who suggested bringing the bike in for a warranty claim. Zack took the bike, filed the warranty claim with Trek, and like magic, found out that the seat post wedge was a faulty (Version 1) design, and the issue was well known to Trek. Zack called me the day the new parts came in and the Version 2 wedge design seems to do the trick as a 24 mile ride Wednesday did not result in a slippage of the seat post. THANKS!!
I write this not to complain, but hopefully to assure everyone at Liberty is made aware of this design issue. I am relatively certain that the seat post squeaking was just a precursor to the seat post slippage, so if a similar issue comes up - verify with Trek the wedge design is the most current!
Great experience as always. I have met a lot of people that know biking, Sam White at Liberty knows his stuff and is a true professional. If you need a bike fit or anything else bike related make sure you come here.
The bike tech who helped my son and I was very knowledgeable. He shared resources with us freely which we are excited about using. Thanks for the help!
